Alpha Sigma Phi Auburn

Join our brotherhood today

What it means to be an Alpha Sig?

Being an Alpha Sig means becoming part of a brotherhood that has lasted for generations. Since our founding in 1845 at Yale University Alpha Sigma Phi has stood for timeless values and a commitment to building better men. For over 175 years our fraternity has helped shape students into leaders scholars and servants of their communities.

To be an Alpha Sig is to carry on a legacy shared by men who have gone on to impact the world. One of the most well known examples is Warren Buffett who joined Alpha Sigma Phi during his time at the University of Pennsylvania. His success reflects the ambition integrity and drive that we encourage in every brother.

Alpha Sigs live by five values that guide our choices and define our culture. We believe in silence charity purity honor and patriotism. These are not just ideals but standards that shape our actions in everyday life from our academic efforts to our service in the community and our relationships with each other.

Joining Alpha Sigma Phi means joining something greater than yourself. It means gaining lifelong brothers growing as a leader and upholding values that will stay with you far beyond college. This is not just a fraternity it is a commitment to excellence character and legacy.

That is what it means to be an Alpha Sig.

A Message from our President

Welcome to the Zeta Psi Chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi at Auburn University. Our mission is to Better the Man, through the creation and perpetuation of brotherhood founded upon the values of character: Silence, Charity, Purity, Honor, Patriotism. At Alpha Sigma Phi, these values of character promote brotherhood bonds that will last well beyond the standard four years of college. With the smaller size of the brotherhood, we strive to promote a personable experience, where everyone can be comfortable enjoying the brotherhood we so deeply cherish. The practice of being a brother at Alpha Sig builds leadership qualities and the general responsibilities it takes for the members to effectively serve our campus and the broader Auburn community. If you are interested in rushing Alpha Sigma Phi, please contact our head of recruitment, Frank Melkonian.
